Iran President calls for capacity sharing among Islamic nations to ensure development

Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the need for sharing the capacities among Islamic nations to foster welfare, progress, and development in their societies.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the need for sharing the capacities among Islamic nations to foster welfare, progress, and development in their societies.

President Pezeshkian made this remark during a meeting with Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in Tehran on Saturday. The president congratulated the Kazakh official on Eid al-Adha, expressing hope that this Islamic occasion will help strengthen bonds among Muslim nations.

He underscored the vast capacities of the Islamic world for building a bright future, stating that Muslim nations can create a future based on development, progress, and welfare through sharing their resources.

Highlighting the significance of the Hajj pilgrimage in enhancing relations among Muslims, Pezeshkian emphasized that Iranians view other Muslim nations as their brothers; therefore, the Islamic Republic is ready to develop cooperation with all Islamic countries, including Kazakhstan.

The future of mutual ties depends on shared determination to build a bright future for the region and the world based on peace, security, and welfare, he added.

The president highlighted the role of foreign ministers in facilitating and opening new horizons to expand relationships among states, and underlined that the Kazakh foreign minister can pave the way for the development of comprehensive ties between the two nations.

Elsewhere in his remarks, President Pezeshkian referred to the indirect talks between the Islamic Republic and the United States regarding the Iranian nuclear program and the lifting of anti-Iran sanctions.

The president underlined that claims about Iran’s peaceful nuclear program are being raised, while Iranian authorities have repeatedly stated explicitly and demonstrated in practice that they never seek to produce nuclear weapons or weapons of mass destruction.

Regarding Iran’s transparent nuclear activities and its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), he stated that while Iran remains open to inspections, it considers any form of denying nations access to knowledge, technology, and scientific achievements unacceptable.

The president also emphasized that Iranians do not accept that others decide the future and destiny of the nation. The Islamic Republic is always ready to listen to reason, but it will never accept bullying or coercion, he added.

In response, the Kazakh official extended his congratulations on the Islamic occasion, stating that his country is determined to enhance political, economic, and regional cooperation with Iran.

Nurtleu delivered a message from his country’s president to the Iranian president, expressing hope that this letter will mark the beginning of a new chapter in relations between the two countries.

He affirmed Iran’s rational stance on peaceful nuclear activities, stating that Kazakhstan respects the Islamic Republic’s right to pursue its nuclear program.
